When Mr and Mrs Robertson decided their wonderful home needed a new conservatory extension, they knew exactly where to look. Having worked with us before on two other properties, the Robertsons trusted us to create a bespoke conservatory that could be enjoyed all year round. One that would provide them with a lovely view of their garden and keep them warm during the winter months. The finished product provided their Dunbar home with the perfect new living space for the whole family to enjoy.
“We have used SRJ on several occasions, and every time the service is second to none.” – Mr and Mrs Robertson, 2022
For Mr and Mrs Robertson, having control over how their conservatory would look at the end of the process was paramount. We wanted to make sure that their installation was a worthy product and catered to what they had envisioned for their Dunbar home. As previous SRJ customers, the Robertsons knew that we were more than happy to support them alongside their project. Our team were always on hand to offer honest advice and opinions, to answer any questions about the installation process.
By working closely with the Robertsons on this project as well as others, we understood exactly what they wanted to achieve for their home to maximise their available space. For the base of their conservatory, the Robertsons opted for a facing brick base. This allowed the build to seamlessly extend from their existing property.
“We were guided every step of the process, kept informed and pointed in the right direction whatever question that we had. The results we have had are exactly what we were looking for!” – Mr and Mrs Robertson, 2022
At SRJ we want our customers to have full control over their home improvement. Therefore, our conservatories are available in a wide range of materials. Having had previous experience with our products, Mr and Mrs Robertson opted for white uPVC windows and doors for Dunbar home. This choice offered them low maintenance and high thermal efficiency.
Our uPVC conservatories are top-of-the-line when it comes to building materials. Unlike its timber counterpart, uPVC doesn’t warp, rot, or suffer weather damage. As a result, Mr and Mrs Robertson’s new conservatory will last for many years. It will also require very little maintenance over that time! As a result, they can sit back and enjoy their new installation without a care in the world. The Ultraframe glass roof we installed for them gives their new conservatory an impressive amount of light, and the open-plan leads straight into the house, allowing the light to bounce around their kitchen and brighten up their entire home.
Due to the open-plan design of their house, SRJ needed to install a thermally efficient conservatory for their Dunbar home. After all, Mr and Mrs Robertson didn’t want to be paying extra for their heating bills, no matter how lovely their conservatory looked! Luckily for them, the uPVC windows and doors we installed as part of the conservatory feature a market-leading level of thermal efficiency. The double glazing we provide is A-rated for its thermal performance, ensuring that the Robertsons will remain comfortably warm in their home all year round. Although the Robertsons opted for uPVC doors, here at SRJ our conservatory designs can also feature patio doors or bifold doors.
Furthermore, should the sun come out and threaten to warm the house too much, the thermal efficiency of the windows works both ways. Ensuring that their home stays cool, even in direct sunlight. As a result, Mr and Mrs Robertson don’t just have a conservatory that looks great, but also one that performs great too.
We have thoroughly enjoyed working with Mr and Mrs Robertson both on this project and for two of their previous homes. We were proud to be the company they trusted with their new extension and were more than happy to provide them with a finished product they were satisfied with. Should we be fortunate enough, we look forward to working with them again on their next dream project!
The Robertson’s new conservatory was just one of the many stunning double glazing projects SRJ has completed. Our installation and customer service team pride themselves on their professionalism and are always ready to create the perfect home improvement.
